2. If you created your THETA wallet via mobile please use your Mnemonic phrase to log in.
3. Here are the 3 options to log into your THETA web wallet - Keystore, Memonic, or Private Key.
-
- Keystore - Drag and drop your keystore into the file and enter your password (your password was set up during your initial wallet setup). Your Keystore/JSON file holds an encrypted version of your private key, which is simply your private key encoded into a cool, secret string of characters. Take, for example, the word ‘apple’. If you encrypted this word with a 4-character difference down the alphabet, it would look something like ‘dssoh’.
- Mnemonic phrase - Enter the 12-word phrase that was assigned to you at the beginning of your setup. A mnemonic phrase is a list of 12-24 words used to back up a wallet. This phrase is a representation of a seed, which is the data that generates all of the keys in an HD wallet. A mnemonic phrase is also sometimes referred to as a seed phrase or recovery phrase.
- Private Key - A private key/secret key is a sophisticated string of alphanumeric characters, a kind of digital password, unique to each cryptocurrency wallet. This key allows the wallet owner to access and control their funds, making transactions and managing their holdings.
Now you have access into your THETA web wallet and you can use it as if you were logged in to your THETA mobile wallet.
