NOTE: This guide uses Ledger Live to help you access your Theta wallet with your Ledger device. If you prefer not to use Ledger Live, you can skip to the "Connecting to Your Ledger THETA Account", as long as you're still using your Ledger hardware wallet to sign transactions.
Also note: You cannot send or receive Theta tokens directly within Ledger Live. All sending and receiving must be done through the Theta Wallet at https://wallet.thetatoken.org/unlock/cold-wallet.
Getting Started

Update Ledger Live to the most recent version. Usually it is a pop up when you have Ledge Live open.
2. Check your Ledger device is running the latest firmware. You can do that in your Ledger Live.
3. Install the latest Ethereum (ETH) app on your Ledger if it’s not already up to date.
4. Keep your Ledger Live open and Ledger device connected. Please ideally use only the included USB cable from Ledger for a reliable connection.
5. Navigate to installed ETH app and CREATE NEW ACCOUNT.
6. Choose ETH for your new account.
7. You can name your new account anything you like. We will use THETA in our case.
Verify your new address

Navigate to your newly created account on Ledger Live.
2. Click "Receive" or "Send" to verify the new account, and follow the on screen instructions. You’ll need to complete steps in both Flex and Ledger Live simultaneously. The example below shows how it works in Flex.
Connecting to Your Ledger THETA Account
Connect your Ledger device to your computer.
On the Ledger, open installed Apps and choose ETHEREUM
Your device should show "Application is ready."
Open the https://wallet.thetatoken.org/unlock/cold-wallet
Choose Ledger as your connection method. Then pick the Ethereum - Ledger Live - m/44'/60' derivation path and click Connect.
6. You'll see a list of accounts, attached newly created account should the first one on the list.
7. Click on it and you should be able to now access SENDING and RECEIVING your Theta Tokens with Ledger device.
